Hi, Im Joe
I’m an actor, life coach, lecturer, event organiser and public speaker with over three decades of experience in living a connected life, full of great talks, great meetings and great stages. I like to mix things up. It's how I find balance.
I trained at the world famous Guildford School of Acting and after graduating, worked in the West End and toured extensively as well as working on camera.
I then had over 25 years working in events management and the creative industries with success as a festival producer, programmer and project management specialist with a lifetime commitment to fostering passion, growth and positive communication.
As a Communications Teacher I help clients find their voice, their confidence and presence. As a Life and Career Coach I help find value, purpose and balance in their lives. As an Acting Tutor I help clients make sense of the words, characters and the world they inhabit.
I’ve worked with lovers of Shakespeare and lovers of spreadsheets with equal passion and now, I’d love to work with you.
Creative, inspirational, passionate and a true communicator, I believe in the power of people.

Play & Perform
I started my working life as an actor and singer, developing creative skills whilst learning to let go of life’s limiting inhibitions. I developed a really broad understanding of people in their brilliant variety. Auditions and performance brought to life a keen sense of how to truly connect; how to carry a message, a story or an idea on a human level.

Lead
Life took me into the events and promotions industry. Twenty years later and with hundreds of events under my belt, I have met and worked with wonderful people from all over the world and in almost every field (sometimes in an actual field!). I have learnt leadership the hard way. Learnt from getting it wrong (which is OK) and from being unable to listen. And ultimately, learnt to communicate and connect through confidence, truth and empathy.

Share
Alongside these two careers, I taught (and learnt). I have always been a teacher of sorts; a sharer of knowledge and believer in inspiring and empowering others. Shared ideas, shared passions, and skills. From teaching circus skills, coaching voice and acting, to working in Universities helping shape the lives of future careers in the creative industries, I believe in sharing knowledge and continued growth.

Listen
I trained with the world-leading Co-Active Training Institute (the gold standard in coach training) and am an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation; and to some extent, I have always been a Coach.
Think of the deepest conversation you ever had, now have it with someone who will ask powerful questions, listen deeply to the whole person and help you dig deep into who you truly are and what you really want; helping you unlock what's already inside of you to make it real, and creating the tools to get you there.
